Every year, in memorial of Steve Wright, our beloved Plant Manager, JM hosts a charity golf tournament. All of the proceeds from the tournament go to a charity that is chosen by the board. Steve was the plant manager of our JM Foods operation from 2000-2013. Steve was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 and lost his battle on May 16, 2013. Steve was not just a manager at JM; he was our friend, associate and teacher. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. We are proud to honor him in this way by giving back to our community. Thank you for supporting this event.

In total, the J-M Farms charity golf tournament has contributed over $150,000 to multiple local charities over the last half decade and intends to continue doing so for many years to come.

The Marge Jurgensmeyer Memorial Scholarship fund was established by the Management Team of JM Farms, as memorial tribute to Marge Jurgensmeyer. It is open to JM Farms/Foods or a directly affiliated company’s employees and their dependents.
